MEADOW CONVERSION

Jessica’s 2.5 Acre Wildflower Meadow Project is in its third year of establishment! The meadow was mown in late March with the help of Jessica’s three sons. Now that the birds have had a chance to use the plant debris for nesting materials and nutrients, the dead plant materials will be raked and removed. This allows for the ground to be more exposed so that more wildflower seeds can be added! The third year will also see perennials plants return. We’re excited to see the biodiversity benefits that the meadow will provide this year!
