ASLA 2025

This month, I had the pleasure of attending and presenting at the 2025 American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. This year’s event brought together professionals from across the country who are shaping the future of landscape architecture, and it was an honor to be part of it.

I was invited to present a session titled Home Landscape Lab: Unlocking Small Business Opportunities for a Biodiverse Future alongside Wanjing Ji and Emily Milliman. Both women are doing incredible work and leading important conversations in our field. I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with them and share insights from our past work and experiences on this exciting topic.

Beyond the session, it was wonderful to reconnect with former colleagues and friends.  I was able to catch up on what others are working on, and explore the latest trends at the expo. Events like ASLA are a great reminder of the creativity, energy, and commitment to driving our industry forward.
